Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Dream Life Space (“we”, “us”, “the Site”) collects when you visit dreamlifespace.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. By using the Site you agree to the practices described here.

Who we are

Dream Life Space is a personal blog publishing articles about habits, routines, productivity, wellbeing and personal finance. Our website address is: https://dreamlifespace.com. You can reach us through our contact page or by email at dreamlifespaceblog@gmail.com.

Information we collect

Comments

When you leave a comment we collect the data shown in the comment form, plus your IP address and browser user agent string, which help with spam detection. An anonymised string created from your email address (a “hash”) may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. After your comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible to the public alongside your comment.

Contact forms

If you write to us through a contact form, we keep the message and your contact details so we can reply. We do not use this information for marketing unless you separately subscribe to our email list.

Email subscriptions

If you subscribe to our newsletter or download a free resource, your name and email address are stored and processed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider. We use this to send you the resource you requested and occasional articles and updates. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

Media

If you upload images to the Site, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included, because other visitors can download and extract that data.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them for the following purposes:

  • Necessary cookies keep the Site working — for example remembering your comment details so you do not have to type them again, and keeping you logged in if you have an account.
  • Analytics cookies help us understand which articles are read and how visitors move through the Site.
  • Advertising cookies are set by our advertising partners to show and measure ads.

You can accept or refuse non-essential cookies through the consent banner shown when you first visit, and you can change your choice at any time. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the Site may then not work as intended.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the Site is used. It collects information such as pages viewed, time on page, approximate location, device type and referring website. This information is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

We also use Jetpack Stats, provided by Automattic, which records page views in a similar way.

Advertising

This Site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this Site and/or other sites on the Internet.
  • You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
  • You can opt out of some third-party vendors’ use of cookies at aboutads.info/choices or youronlinechoices.eu.

We do not control the cookies set by advertising partners and we do not have access to the data they collect.

Affiliate links

Dream Life Space is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. We may also take part in other affiliate programs.

If you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are disclosed within our articles. Clicking such a link may set a cookie from the merchant that records the referral. Earning a commission never influences whether we recommend something — see our Terms of Use for our full disclosure.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this Site may include embedded content such as videos, images or articles from other websites. Embedded content behaves exactly as if you had visited that other website, which may collect data about you, use cookies and monitor your interaction with that content.

How long we keep your data

  • Comments and their metadata are kept indefinitely so that follow-up comments can be recognised and approved automatically.
  • Contact form messages are kept for as long as needed to handle your enquiry.
  • Email subscriber data is kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
  • Analytics data is retained according to the retention settings of the provider.

Your rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive it in a portable format. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information is collected, to request its deletion, and to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at dreamlifespaceblog@gmail.com. We will respond within the time limits required by applicable law. Note that we may be required to keep certain information for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Data security

The Site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection. We take reasonable measures to protect the information we hold, but no method of transmission or storage over the Internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children’s privacy

This Site is not directed at children under the age of 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised “last updated” date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
